Finally...
So I know that I'm not the best blogger because it takes a couple of months after each post for me to do another one. Well, here are some pictures from the past little bit to catch everyone up. We're all doing well...Makayla is growing like crazy and is totally over whatever had her at the hospital; Lilly is busy being a 2-year old and likes to get right in Makayla's face, but she's a good sister to her. Steven is staying busy at work and is finally getting over his severely sprained ankle that he's had for a month or so now. I'm doing well staying busy with the 2 kiddos and school. Steven and I get to go to the Grand Caymen Islands in a few weeks so we're super excited about that. We also are going to a Broncos game soon. Steven would much rather see the Packers play but is being a good hubby and taking me to see my team. Go Broncos! Other than that, there's not much else going on. Till next time...

Unexpected, But Wonderful!
I know I'm a few days late, but I finally got some pictures up of our unexpected early arrival of Makayla. For those who don't know the story, I'll try to sum it up real quick. I had a routine appointment on July 1st and was told that I had been measuring a bit small so I got an ultrasound done. Unfortunately, it looked like Makayla had stopped growing and only weighed 5 1/2 lbs. at me being 38 weeks, but measuring 34. We were all worried that she wasn't getting the food she needed and so they decided to induce me. To our surprise and relief, everything went very smoothly with my labor and Makayla came out a healthy 6 lbs. 10 oz. and 18 1/2 inches long! Everything was okay with her and me and we were able to bring her home the next day. Needless to say I was so relieved after being so worried and stressed the previous few days. We're so blessed and grateful to have Makayla in our lives now, even if it was a couple weeks early! No complaints! She is a wonderful and sweet baby girl!

Lilly's 2nd Birthday!
So our little Lilly is now a whopping 2 years old! I can't believe how big she is getting! Now I understand what my parents are talking about when they say "..it seemed like just yesterday I was holding you in the hospital..." I know 2 years isn't a super long time, but it really does feel like I just had Lilly yesterday! Anyway, I have some cute pictures from her little party she had but my dear hubby has the camara with him in Salt Lake City, which has all the pictures on it. He is there for his Grandma May's funeral. She passed away on Friday and was a dear, sweet lady. I wish I could be there with him but on account of the bump in my stomach, it is not in my best interest to fly! I will post some pictures in the next couple of days...hopefullly. My quick little sister-in-law put the pictures she took at the party up right away! Good job Brianna! If you can't wait for my slow butt, her blog is ourfairytaleending.blogspot.com.

Sunday Adventures!
Lilly got her pretty sunday dress all dirty! She was outside playing with her best friend Millie Dog and sat down in the dirt, got her bum all dirty then decided it would be fun to sit in Millie's water bowl and get herself all wet. Poor Millie now has dirty bum water.
Memorial Day Water Fun!
Lilly had so much fun in her little pool in the back yard. We filled it full of squirt guns and toys, she had a blast. Poor little girl, Daddy was playing around with one of the super soakers and accidently shot Lilly in the face at almost point blank range with it fully pumped. She was a good sport and thought it was funny kind of. But she made sure to tell her Daddy to stop!

What's Going On...
Well, there's not a whole lot going on in our world at the moment. I was sick this past week with some kind of stomach thing so Steven was a sweetheart and stayed home to take care of Lilly for me since I couldn't even get out of bed! Luckily, Steven nor Lilly caught what I had so that's good. Mother's Day was yesterday so Steven made me breakfast and had me take a rest from doing a few things. I get to go get my hair highlighted as my present so I'm excited about that! I'm in my 29th week of pregnancy so we're getting pretty close to our new little one arriving. She's quite a kicker, just like her sister was! Lilly likes to kiss my belly and say hi to baby. I'm excited to see how she reacts to someone else taking some of the attention. We'll see how she does. Steven is doing well and still enjoys his job. He's got some big goals for himself at work so we hope and pray that things goe well for him there. School just finished for the semester so I have a little break for a couple months. I'm pretty close to being done (finally) and hope to graduate next December. The end is in sight! Hopefully I can achieve that goal myself. Hello to all and we hope you are doing well!

A New Year!
I think one of my resolutions this year should be to keep up with my blog! I got really excited to start it and then I really slacked on keeping up with it. New year, new goals right? The May family is doing well. Steven is enjoying his now full-time job with Northwestern Mutual, especially since he is now graduated! Yea! I am still going to school, just a couple of classes. Lilly is doing great and growing so fast! She's adorable and we love spending time with her and seeing her learn new things. She knows some animal noises when we ask her, such as "What does a puppy say?" She then says, "Woof, woof," and then goes along with a few other animals. Steven thought it would be funny to teach her what Mommy says, which, according to him, is "No, no." She knows that one just as well as the animal noises that she does. He likes to show people the "cute" thing he taught her.
