Cooling Off!

This is a recent favorite thing to do of Lilly's when she goes outside with Millie. For some reason, perhaps the heat, she can't help but take her shoes off, stand or sit in Millie's water bowl, and then pour it out after she's done. Kinda cute, kinda yucky!

Day at the Zoo!

We went to the Albuquerque Zoo with Steven's work a few weeks ago. We had a blast and Lilly really enjoyed it. Here she is just relaxing so Dad can pull her around the park! Silly girl!
Lilly and Daddy! Nice shot of the polar bears in the background!

I thought this was a cute pose she took to get a better look at the zebras.

I never get enough pictures taken of just me and Lilly cause I'm the one that's usually behind the camara so any chance I get to pose with my girl I take!

Birthday Pictures...Finally!

Here is the cake I made for Lilly. It's the first time I've made a cake this creative! Luckily I had help from Bonnie so it turned out pretty good! Hopefully you can tell what it is! Thanks to everyone who was involved in Lilly's birthday! It was wonderful!
Everyone wanted to help with the presents!

Isn't Steven cute helping Lilly with her presents?! Cute Daddy!

Time to make a wish and blow out the candles!

Lilly was pretty excited with everyone watching her!

We thought it would be easier to use a cupcake for blowing out 2 candles rather than a whole cake!

Some of the dads just hanging out, not looking at the camara of course!

Here are some of Lilly's friends playing in her new sandbox from Mommy and Daddy!

Lilly's 2nd Birthday!

So our little Lilly is now a whopping 2 years old! I can't believe how big she is getting! Now I understand what my parents are talking about when they say "..it seemed like just yesterday I was holding you in the hospital..." I know 2 years isn't a super long time, but it really does feel like I just had Lilly yesterday! Anyway, I have some cute pictures from her little party she had but my dear hubby has the camara with him in Salt Lake City, which has all the pictures on it. He is there for his Grandma May's funeral. She passed away on Friday and was a dear, sweet lady. I wish I could be there with him but on account of the bump in my stomach, it is not in my best interest to fly! I will post some pictures in the next couple of days...hopefullly. My quick little sister-in-law put the pictures she took at the party up right away! Good job Brianna! If you can't wait for my slow butt, her blog is ourfairytaleending.blogspot.com.

Sunday Adventures!

Lilly got her pretty sunday dress all dirty! She was outside playing with her best friend Millie Dog and sat down in the dirt, got her bum all dirty then decided it would be fun to sit in Millie's water bowl and get herself all wet. Poor Millie now has dirty bum water.
Giddy up little doggy! Lilly was really excited about her new horse Millie!

Steven's Best Gals, all lined up and posing. Millie and Lilly don't have the greatest atention span and I am just the way Steven likes me, barefoot and pregnant! Now if only I was in the kitchen. : ) JK

Lilly's new fort. If you can't find Lilly outside, it is because she is under the BBQ grill. Good thing she doesn't yet play with matches!

Memorial Day Water Fun!

Lilly had so much fun in her little pool in the back yard. We filled it full of squirt guns and toys, she had a blast. Poor little girl, Daddy was playing around with one of the super soakers and accidently shot Lilly in the face at almost point blank range with it fully pumped. She was a good sport and thought it was funny kind of. But she made sure to tell her Daddy to stop!
Even Millie Dog had fun in the pool, Lilly thought it was the greatest thing to have her best friend in the pool with her. Millie got a much needed bath.

This is the life: a barbeque, good music, family and a holiday at home.

Monster in a Cage!

This is Lilly's new favorite thing to do. She dumps out all of her dirty clothes then runs around the house with her basket over her head. She thinks it is the funniest thing.

A New Year!

I think one of my resolutions this year should be to keep up with my blog! I got really excited to start it and then I really slacked on keeping up with it. New year, new goals right? The May family is doing well. Steven is enjoying his now full-time job with Northwestern Mutual, especially since he is now graduated! Yea! I am still going to school, just a couple of classes. Lilly is doing great and growing so fast! She's adorable and we love spending time with her and seeing her learn new things. She knows some animal noises when we ask her, such as "What does a puppy say?" She then says, "Woof, woof," and then goes along with a few other animals. Steven thought it would be funny to teach her what Mommy says, which, according to him, is "No, no." She knows that one just as well as the animal noises that she does. He likes to show people the "cute" thing he taught her.
